Welcome back. We are entering week two of the Kickstarter campaign and I’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of backers like yourself. The campaign has come a long way, but still has a ways to go. In an effort to say thanks for your existing support, and give you an opportunity to help me take the campaign to the next level, I am creating a couple contests for you to participate in.
Release the thunder
I recently was introduced to a new social media tool called Thunderclap. The about section of the website describes their service as follows:
Thunderclap is the first-ever crowdspeaking platform that helps people be heard by saying something together. It allows a single message to be mass-shared, flash mob-style, so it rises above the noise of your social networks. By boosting the signal at the same time, Thunderclap helps a single person create action and change like never before.
The beauty of Thunderclap is that it sets the goalposts: one message, one number, one date. It’s a common threshold you and your supporters work toward together. It’s a tangible way to measure awareness.

I will be setting up 3 Thunderclaps: one the ends the 21st, one that ends the 28th, and one that ends Nov 3rd. Each campaign will also have a set a two promotional cards associated with it. Where you come in is by donating either a tweet or a Facebook post towards the goal. For each backer that donates towards the Thunderclap campaigns will receive a copy of that week’s promotional cards.

Additionally, all backers involved in a successful Thunderclap campaign will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a free set of the custom coins included in the Collectors Edition of The Hackers Guild

The first campaign has been submitted and will go live in the next 3 days and its promotional cards will be two additional targets: Games By Ray and Geekabyte Computers, as pictured above.
I really appreciated any and all support you can provide. Let’s get this campaign funded!
